My Name is Prasanthi. I am from Nellore, Andhra Pradesh,India. I was born into a happy family. I have one younger brother. I just completed Post Graduation in Computers(Major). My hobbies include: Reading Books, Spending time alone, Letter Writing, Browsing NET.

My family is the best gift given to me by God who is again my best friend. Smt. Lakshmi Prasanna, a teacher, is the first person who said to me that I can write poetry. The next one is my parents,relatives and friends who encouraged me to write. Next very big influence is Poetry.com.Next your-poetry.com. I have to thank a lot to Mick,Editor,your-poetry.com and its readers for encouraging me a lot.I very much owe to Mick. Then to Authorsden.com and its family which is introduced to me by Madam Tiana of Hawaii.
Coming to the people other than web,Sri Bharago who has given me some poetry books to read and understand ,Tulasi garu; Sri Ramalingeswara Rao garu who selected my poems in Hindi for a writers' meet and Sri Perugu RamaKrishna, Smt.Somireddy Jayaprada,Smt. Dornala Subbamma etc., who are well known writers.
Ofcourse I haven't mentioned my relatives and friends with names.Because it will be a long list.
Last but not the least,every reader who reads and add a comment here, infuses my spirit and make me write more and more.
To conclude, I pray Lord Shirdi Sai Baba, who is my friend, philosopher,guide and everything. I am a devotee of him but hardly I perform poojas.

3 of my poems, "Web Posting the Poetry","Education","To Husbands all over the world" are selected to be published in a book named "Chaitanya kavitha" which is a half-yearly book especially for poetry(both Telugu and English), edited and published by Sri Tangirala Subbarao Garu,Retd.Telugu Professor,Bangalore University.
This is only my achievement so far.
