Always loved writing! Now I have an abundance of characters, plots and imagination to keep me motivated. It's true I started my career as a patrol officer where I walked a beat in Columbia, SC then became a detective for Lexington County Sheriff's Department. Later, after college, I worked in New York and traveled all over the world. It was very rewarding. But my heart was always in writing. Eventually, I went back to school to become a medical doctor. THE only reason I went to Med School was to be a Forensic Pathologist. I love it! So, now I am able to combine both passions in my life into a rewarding writing career.  I like to write about things I know and places I've been.  I actually use bits and pieces of people I've met and combine them into my characters.
