I live in northern Wisconsin and have been writing since I was about twenty years old—thirty-four years, to be exact, and yes, I’m disclosing my age. I have been married to my second husband, Ron, for 17 years—he’s my biggest fan and my biggest supporter. I am the proud mother of three, the stepmother of two, and the grandmother of twelve. My children and grandchildren alike are the highlight of my life. Next to writing, my passion is live theater. I founded our local community theater back in 1992 and during its eighteen-year existence, directed upwards of 50 shows.
I started my career writing romance, but inevitably strayed to more energetic endeavors. It seemed that my romances always had a suspenseful, action-packed undertone. Sometimes there was even a little sci fi thrown in the mix. Though all of my books still include some type of romantic entanglement, I no longer limit myself to one genre. My newest book, "Checkmate," (Book One in the Brian Koski Stalker Series) is billed as a thriller and will be released on January 15, 2011. I also wrote "Annihilation" a few years back, which is a strict science fiction novel. I'm currently working on a ghost story, another science fiction novel, and just completed a mainstream manuscript about a common, every day guy who decides to run for President. Of course, the second book in the Brian Koski Stalker series is also in the works. I guess, in a nutshell, my readers never know what to expect from me. The only guarantee is that it will be a good read.
