I have been influenced by many authors, love mysteries and favorites include R.Ludlam, S.King, and J.Patterson. I am also a big Comedy fan, and find performers/writers like Bette Midler, Billy Crystal, Robin Williams,Ellen DeGeneres, Richard Jeni and Chris Rock, fascinating because what they say is memorable many times, because of their confident presentation.When I read it is for pleasure. I write mostly for myself, and must find it entertaining to readers.I am very conscious of dialog, when writing, poetry or short stories, and always try to incorporate experience tinged with humor. There is inspiration everywhere and the more authors that I read, the more amazed I am to think, this Internet was not invented sooner, if not just for us authors!
   

While in College,I began as the staff photographer and news reporter. I interviewed Gore Vidal and Jacob Javits separately while an undergrad at John Jay College. My most memorable day is the day I met Jackie Onassis while employed at Bloomingdale's .

Every author has a favorite work, But like children, you love them all and cannot choose a favorite.."I Am A New Yorker" is the most widely read work in my portfolio. You can "google it" .It has also traveled around the web and posted on many websites. It was written within days of the WTC attack. Living and growing up in NY, I think everyone was deeply affected and I remain so. Many of my favorite places & memories are embodied in that piece.
