I graduated from Millsaps College with a degree in Chemistry, and am currently a science teacher. My husband of over thirty years is a minister whose calling has taken us across the United States and several foreign countries. I serve as a prison volunteer and am the author of the award winning poem, "Wake up America" which is included in my book of poetry, Reflections. my other works include In His Presence, and A Season for Love. My inspiration comes from those I love -- God, my parents, my husband, my children.
