Ms. Furedi was an English Major at Stony Brook University and CCNY at CUNY, with a concentration in Post World War II fiction. Her influences are F. Scott Fitzgerald, Truman Capote and poets Robert Frost, Wallace Stevens and e.e. cummings, among many others.  

Member of ASCAP (American Society of Authors Composers and Publishers.) Her poetry has been set to Music and preformed at Carnegie Recital Hall. She is the winner of the David Markovitz Prize for Best Poet, at CCNY at CUNY. She has been published in two prior poetry anthologies, including CREVELATIONS and Who's Who In Poetry In American Colleges And Universities.

Ms. Furedi's current book is 'john lennon: in their own write, a loving tribute from his friends and fans.' The book has a foreword by Sid Bernstein, the legendary agent to the stars who brought the Beatles to the USA. It was recently launched with great fanfare with Ms. Furedi and Mr. Bernstein at a book-signing event at Bloomindale's flagship store in Manhattan. Ms. Furedi's prior book, 'Dear John: Letters from a Fan in New York City, AN INTERACTIVE BOOK,' is now a collector's item and was the prototype for the book the current work. Both are available from her website and online bookstores. Ms. Furedi is currently collaborating on a short film that will compliment the current book.
