Empowering women, one thought at a time.

Background Information

Inspired by my daughter who, by watching the interactions of her and her peers, made me realize the connection between the self-images little girls develop as children and the self-esteem levels of the women they become, I now aspire to empower women to change their outcomes by changing the way they think.

Karen Elaine O'Bannon, author of "A Song for You--Parables and Pearls, is married to husband, Herbert, step-parent to three children and three grandchildren, and auntie/mother of one.  She is also super-intendent of the children's mid-week Bible study and director of Vacation Bible school at her church in Louisville, Kentucky and writes a monthly blog column for "The Soul of Louisville".
