Big talk and bigger dreams poured out of a bottle for about 18 years, with the resulting traumas being my interpretation of adventure.  Then, at 31 years of age, I placed the plug in the jug and discovered a whole new world, where dreams could become realities.  I didn't hesitate to take full advantage of this newfound freedom, and set out to accomplish my dreams. To travel into the Amazon jungle was one of these, and 5 years of living in Venezuela extinguished that burning desire.  That journey, complete with personal background, is relived in my book, 'Hooked on a Drumbeat.'

How many jobs, wives or homes are socially acceptable to have in one lifetime? How has this mobility affected others? A drifter most of my life, I have still managed to create and maintain lasting friendships, and at the same time, create fodder for my writing. I will not reach the end of life's journey full of regrets of things not done. May my experiences encourage you to follow your own dreams without regrets.
