Shawn lives between San Diego and Baja California, Mexico.  His first book, 'Open Your Heart with Bicycling...' is a collection of essays on the holistic merits of a life of cycling and is winner of the 2008 Indie Book Award for Sports and Fitness.  The first edition of his  novel, 'Playing the Game' was released in 2007 and the second edition has just been released through Authors Den bookstor.  It is a fast pace thriller taking on various conspiracy thoeries about suitcase sized nuclear weapons.  His second novel, 'Cast The First Stone' was released by HIP Publishing in 2010 and focuses on an organized doping scandal in the Tour de France. The first edition of his short story collection 'Strays and other Stories' was released in November of 2008, and the second edition is now available through the Authors Den bookstore.  He is currently researching and writing his next novel 'Double Cross'.
