Background...included drill team,pep squad,modern jazz and tap these days... revolve around regular dance floor moves. I sing,use to love twirling baton when I was head majorette. Performed solo majorette routine was chosen out of our group to do so in the Civic arena back in the day. I also enjoyed playing clairnet. Some of my poems had been published in newspapers. Interest and hobbies now include teaching step areobics, ckb, working on choreography,art,painting, sketching,miniture restoration of miniture houses/people I have modeled,and worked in background acting. When time on hand I compose my own original songs and lyric's. I worked as a Karoake hostess an entertainer at a night club and performed in numerous talent shows and general shows for parks and rec's. I enjoy listening to opera singers Pavoritti, Jessye Norman and Andre Bochelli. Occassionally met famous people. Major influence ...Maya Angelou,Rita Dove, Nikki Giovanni,Paul Laurence Dunbar, Sonia Sanchez, Erykah Badu, Gwendolyn Brooks, Langston Hughes, James Baldwin, Robert Frost, Nipsy Russell, Shakespeare,and last but not least Edgar Allen Poe.

Several of my poems were published in anthology's. One story recently published was called Marshan Shaw. Another recent poem of mine was in published in a book called Voyages.

My short story A Soldier In The Making just recently came out in the Taj Mahal Review in Dec. Many more projects are in the works.
