My greatest achievement is a work in progress, two years ago I became a 'mature age' student at the University of Southern Queensland. I am studying for my Bachelor of Social Science with majors in Environmental Science and Sustainable Environments. Our little 'spaceship' called Earth is suffering under the pressure of humanity and perhaps with my new found knowledge I may in some small way contribute to its recovery.

Although I was born in Scotland I have lived all my life in Australia. It is a land of beautiful contrasts from tropical rain forests, sweeping deserts and high snow country. The Great Barrier Reef with its stunning coral and marine life is something to behold, as are the thousands of miles of coastline with golden beaches.
