I love writing and am an avid reader. I am an animal lover, especially dogs, and spend as much time with them that I can. My greatest love, beside writing, is spending time with my family. I currently reside in Springfield, Mo.

I have been published in several anthologies. The last three: Theatre of the Mind, The Best Poems of 2003 and The International Who's Who in Poetry.

I have also been a registered nurse for over 30 years. It has been an interesting career. Helping people when they are at some of the worst moments of their lives can be rewarding and educating. Too bad in real life there aren't always happy endings.



I have also been published in the magazine "The Intercom."

"Dressed Inside Out" is one woman's odyssey through the trials and tribulations of mental illness. I have been a member of Poet Workshop.com for over a year. I enjoyed the friends I made but not the treatment I received. Through the posting of my poetry and reviewing others I achieved National Poet Laureate. I was proud of my work and the work of others I found there.
