I have been a youth worker for the past 35 years. During my time as a Juvenile Care Specialist at a detention center, I began to share my writings with detained kids. Since that time, I have had nine books published. I now have a website which lists my books and allows readers to read sample chapters. My most popular book, Scratchin' on the Eight Ball, is the most stolen book in the Lincoln Public school system. It is the story of a thirteen-year-old juvenile delinquent who ends up with information regarding the murder of a narc. While it is based on fact, Patricia Webb was an informant who was murdered here in 1976, the heart of the story is Reason Nelson's struggle with substance abuse.
