I am an aspiring author, a person of great hope, a father, a brother & resurrected being. I am Maxx Kilbourne.

Background Information

Major influences include WEB Dubois, Langston Hughes, Claude McKay to name a few. I am an American, I am a product of the inner-city, but not a reflection of it. Raised in the midst of gangs, drugs and violence, the power of literature saved me. Books became my refuge and escape. I hope to one day reach, teach and uplift others as I have been.
