I think Gene Wilder would like Murder On The Silver Comet Trail more than James Dickey, who wrote Deliverance as well as a poem about kudzu. Dickey was a major influence for this book because I remember the uneasy feeling during the story he told.
This book started out as a way to make a living and became a way to make a difference. Justyellfire.com and Right To Hike, Inc. are both charities that benefit from the sale of this book. I am hoping to start a 501(c)3 to speak about safety for women. The strangers are mostly men who are a menace to women, so we need to figure out how and who to trust better.
I was in the movie as an extra for Get Low at Picket's Mill on March 4!
