After a brush with atheism, I returned to Christianity with a difference: I understood why I believed the things I believed. After years of professional church work and in depth conversations with people over the Internet, I felt it was time to begin communicating my positions via Story.
Writing under the name 'A.R. Horvath' I followed C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, Dorothy Sayers, and G.K. Chesterton in using fiction and narrative to explore the deep things, presenting my own perspectives in an entertaining and engaging format so that even those who disagree might enjoy themselves.
Readers have compared my Birth Pangs series to JK Rowling's Harry Potter series, some of the authors named above, and one reader suggested Isaac Asimov, Stephen King, and Robert Heinlein.
The first book in the Birth Pangs series, Fidelis, has also been reviewed on Worldnetdaily.com.
I am also passionately pro-life and my non-fiction book, We Chose Life: Why You Should Too was released in Feb. of 2009 to good reviews.
