I am a Retired Special Forces Green Beret. I conceived the idea of my book while my son was in college. He was majoring in Law enforcement and wanted a career with the FBI. I thought it would be interesting if someone like me raised a son like him and through a series of mishaps and trageties, I became a very dangerous criminal that has the potential to destroy the American lifestyle, and my son, an FBI Agent has to try and stop me. The two of us meet near the end of the story.
I used my mothers Indian heritage as a back drop and wrote about my childhood which was very harsh and demanding. It also helped to convey to the reader why someone could possibly go over the edge. Although this is a book of fiction, many of the chapters are filled with my own true life experiences or someone I had served with. This book is full of adventure, regret, revenge and humor. It will have you laughing in one chapter and crying in the next. It covers all aspects of emotion and will wrap you into a sense of you being there as the story unfolds. Indian Giver is a book about human frailities and inner strength we as humans all share at one point of time in our lives.

I am still working as an Army JROTC Instructor and will retire at the end of this school year. I have done two book signings to date with great success and plan on traveling this year to do many more at various military instalations.
