I come from a long line of poets, story tellers and entertainers. My father was one of the greatest Irish singers I have ever heard. I have always been influenced by anything that captures my attention- from rock music to classical, from the buzz of a city street to the soft whisper of the ocean caressing the shore, from moments of joy and fulfillment to moments of extreme sorrow and loss- I try to capture these things in my writing: like bits of colored glass that sometimes turn out to be gems of incredible value. I speak directly from my heart, and I believe my words will speak into the experiences of the people who read them.
