With a Masters Degree in Creative Writing and Literature and having studied eight years under the auspices of the late, great beat generation writer Leonard Bishop (Dare To Be A Great Writer), Carmen Alexandra is now at work on her fourth major literary work.  Other works included published poetry.  Her first published novel, When the Ugly Comes, is a steamy southern tale set in the rural south.  Her novels have as much gypsy quality in them as the gypsy within the author herself.  Each has been written in a different genre.  She is not restricted by categories.
