Background Information

British novelist, writing in the fields of Victorian gothic and historical fiction. Favourite writers and major influences - apart from Shakespeare - are Charlotte and Emily Bronte, Jean Rhys and Joyce Carol Oates. Gothic novels include Lily and Porphyria's lover, published by Simon and Schuster.

My latest novel, Lady Macbeth's Tale, explores the murderous desires of Shakespeare's heroine.
