I am an IT Executive in a large, multinational corporation, but have always wanted to write. Over the last few years, despite my busy work and a young family, I have written a novel, a few dozen short stories, nearly completed a second novel, and have several planned. I expect a collection of my fantasy short stories to be published by January 2010, as well as a collaborative work on how to write fantasy and specfic, from the viewpoint of up-and-coming novelists.
I have collaborated in a number of internet forums and have skilled up to the point now where I have little doubt I can make a living from this difficult profession - the only thing unknown now is how long it will take.
I am proud to be a friend of three other authors, all of whom are members of the International Fantasy Writers' Guild. Together, we are honing our respective skills, and assisting others in developing theirs, and have now formed our own publishing house (IFWG Publishing) - where I am Editor in Chief
