About Me:
I love being involved in many different projects, like art, poetry, short stories, and more. However, at this moment I'm concentrating on my family, my husband's business, work, and finishing a career. Since I am not a best-seller yet like my idols Danielle Steel and Gabriel Garcia Marquez, I'm doing all my best to keep up-to-date in new and trendy writing techniques.
There's always something new to learn. And each day I learn something new.
I love freestyle poetry, which is what I write the most; it gives me the option to express my feelings more openly and explore the world of the words more freely. However, I do tend to follow certain order in my work, but mostly on my short stories and novels.
Right now I am working on few novels, one being Believing in Love at First Sight, a romance story, "Clair is Not at Home", my favorite, a fiction drama/action short novel, (True story adorned with a lot of fiction and interesting fictional characters), also Two of Ace (a drama/fiction novel). And I'm also re-editing my 1st published poetry book title "Grieving" and my Spanish poetry book titled Cartas y Poemas de Eva Luna. The last one is a work in progress. :)
{I'm crossing my fingers that I get to finish my work and get to have my novels published soon. "Believing in Love at First Sight" was an option for publishing by Mira Editions of Harlequin Romance Novels but due to timeframe issues, it never got published, and was later declined by the Harlequin Romance Novels Spice Briefs Edition, they said the language was an old fashion, old english language, the characters weren't believable enough and the situations were not to "exciting" for their Spice Brief Edition, to try Mira or Luna editions instead, but since I had tried the Mira edition and I could not deliver my work on their time frame at the time, I decided to give up on them and work on completing more chapters to probably give it a try later on with other publishers that would appreciate my talent and not try to bounce me around or discredit my fiction and non fiction work.
But who knows maybe Pinguin or other publishers out there would be interested in my novels and provide me with feedback.
Writers like Walt Withman, Thomas Hardy and even Alan Poe had some of their writings rejected before they got their bestsellers. Again, I'm not loosing my faith and crossing my fingers! With God before everything, I will make it! I will...
Enjoy mywork!
Loves,
Evey.
