I grew up in a small community known as Glenola, located in Randolph County, NC. I attended Randleman High School, and later graduated from High Point College with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. After working several years in banking, I earned my MBA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. My passion for writing began early as I wrote plays for his drama class in middle school. A professional opportunity took me and my wife Becky to Kentucky, where we lived for four years, and then moved to Michigan for one year, before returning to North Carolina. Many of the locations and characters in my writing come from my travels throughout the Midwest. I have a son, Andrew, who lives in Lenoir and attends Appalachian State University, and a step-son Tim Price, who lives with his family in Rockingham. I now reside in North Carolina with my wife Becky and our two Bichons, Joey and Banks.

My new novel The Reckoning was recently released. It is a mystery/suspense novel that is a must read for all mystery enthusiasts.
