Davis spent more than two years researching and documenting the history of this unbelievable North Georgia women's club. Through the eyes of three generations of Southern women, readers will explore an entire spectrum of emotions through each compelling chapter that begins with the Civil War and actually doesn't end.

Born and raised in Georgia, Davis graduated with a publication management degree from the University of Georgia in 1991. She quickly rose from beat reporter to managing editor of a small weekly North Georgia newspaper where she began her weekly column, Direct from Dana. 

Today, Davis continues her weekly column on her Web site, www.directfromdana.com. She also continues to work on new writing projects including a theatrical version of her first book, Tomorrow is Better. She is a work-at-home mom who stays busy with her writing and editing by writing web copy for people all over the country. She also edits and designs a popular humor paper located in McMinnville, Tennessee called Southern Humor, www.southernhumor.net.
