My name is David Younger. I have been creatively inspired since I was a young boy of only 3 years old. I have always loved writing and illustrating. Although I have had no extensive writing education beyond what I could get in public school, I absolutely love to write. In fact, I write as often as I possibly can. I am married to a wonderful woman named Lana and I am a father of 3 wonderful kids. They range in ages from 6 to 15 years of age. My oldest son, Christian, is very much an independent thinking teenager. Next is my 10 year old son, Devon. Devon is a creative writer, just like his talented father (ha ha). So this brings me to the only Princess that I know personally, my 6 year old daughter, Shauna. Shauna is a free spirited imaginative little girl. I originally started the Wandering Firefly Fairy series because she wanted a story about a fairy and a princess. So, from that request came the first book, “The Mysterious Moat Maiden”. My second book was just made up "on the fly" as they say.  It just came spilling out one evening at storytime and unfolded nicely I might say.. The manuscript was just recently accepted  and my publisher has offered to publish it as well. 

Does a "World's Greatest Dad" t-shirt count?

I guess my biggest achievement besides my family would be getting published.

I have many projects in the works right now so I hope to add more achievements, certifications, and awards to this site.
