Writing is my nature. If you are a writer then you MUST write. Sometimes I write by choice, but most times I write because I must release those creative juices and passionate opinions and thoughts onto paper. My hope is that God uses me to deliver His Glory so that others may be blessed and/or find healing or simply to make people smile and to evoke emotion that is real. I love that! I have self-published two books, "Bounce: wordz & rhythmz" (2005) and "Jah's Boogie: the ballad box"(2009). I have been writing since I was a little girl. In 1989 I won a Journalism scholarship to Clark Atlanta University and that began my serious discovery of what writing meant for me and how I could share my dream with the world. Since then, life has been my greatest instructor as to how to become a better writer and a productive member of my community. I love to encourage others to pursue their dreams and to tap into the nature of what God means for them to give to the world through Him. I'm so thankful for the gift of words, although purging can be painful, it may turn into a beautiful poem of healing.
