M Pepper Langlinais is the author of the short play "Warm Bodies" which was turned into the short film Adverse Possession by Rolling Circle Productions. M has written bestselling Sherlock Holmes stories and is the author of The K-Pro, with a second book in that series currently in the works. She is also author of St. Peter in Chains, the first in the Peter Stoller series about a gay British spy. The novella won Reader's Choice in Blogger Book Fair 2013 and the screenplay version of St. Peter in Chains won Table Read My Screenplay and was given a professional table read at Sundance Film Festival in 2013. M is the creator of the fictional fantasy world AElit.
M has a screenwriting degree from the University of Texas at Austin, where she interned on the set of Hope Floats. She has a graduate degree from Emerson College.
In addition to fiction, M writes media reviews of books, television, movies, and music.
AElit was born from Langlinais' undergraduate studies in classical history, during which time she took Dr. Douglass Parker's Parageography class. Since then, Langlinais continues to build the rich history of AElit and is currently editing her graduate thesis (a novel also based on AElit) for future publication.
