A 54 year old graduate of the University of Rochester (2006), majoring in English Literature, I mention with pride the honor and privilege of studying under Professors Ayala Emmett, Robert Foster and Signithia Fordham in Anthropology, Rosemary Kegl in Renaissance Writing, James Longenbach in Postmodern Literature, Creative Writing and Poetry, and Joanna Scott in modern and contemporary fiction - the art of imaginative writing, to name a few.
Having taught 10th and 11th grade English in a co-taught setting but one year due to the effects of the economic crisis in education, I found my niche working in Mullti-VE as a substitute teacher for the past two years. The handicapped may be labeled appropriately in some respects but not regarding the heart. There is much to be learned from them and it has been another privilege to work with them.
Writing fiction, non-fiction and poetry, drawing from life experience on a road to acquiring self-sufficiency, I have much to offer and even more to learn!
