I am an aspiring writer and believe that we all have a lot to learn from each other.

Background Information

I am originally from Somalia but I have spent all my life away from my homeland due to civil strife that surely I still don't understand. Due to the lessons I have learnt from watching my family struggle through the challenges of coming to foreign lands and having to start all over again with all the discrimination we have all faced from time to time and still face, I am able to write and share and hope that my writing can impact somebody's life positively or open their eyes to the realities that others are living with.
