Influences: Jesus for what he sacrificed his life for, My late Mother Annie F. Rogers and My Father Julius Rogers Jr. My mother was a talented visual artist and my Father was good in artsy penmanship. My father always says" When you think about something build a foundation under your thought write it down on paper son". Using my god given artistic talents I write and draw my own stuff.
Other Influences: Mr. Carl Zidel who has taught me so much about drawing, painting,animation and commercial art. He was like Professor X of the X-Men in his teachings and I was one of his students, So that would make me a Z-man right? Ha! Ha! Most of my influences are no longer with us: John F. Kennedy, Martin L King, Malcolm X, Muhammad Ali, Bruce Lee, Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra etc. Influences who are currently alive: RUN-DMC, KRS ONE, Prince, Michael Jackson, Maya Angelou(who reminds me so much of my mother) and many others.
