I have been writing since I was 16 years old. I wrote a poem about John F. Kennedy the day after he was assassinated. From that point forward I began to write. It takes forever to be recognized as an author, and many many years later, when it happened, it was amazing. When people started shaking my hand when they met me and told me that I was their "mentor", I had to look around to see if they were talking to me! But they were, and it still, to this day, amazes me.
Because I am a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor and a Landlord I decided to put the two talents together and started writing educational books for Landlords and Property Managers to teach them how to setup their companies in QuickBooks. Later I wrote a true story about my life as an Inner City landlord in the City of Detroit and all that my husband and I went through.
I believe in education, and in today's world, it is crucial to keep educating ourselves in everything we do, no matter what Industry we may be in.
