T.L. Gray grew up as the only girl out of five brothers and her best friend - her imagination. Creating and telling stories was her way of life.
After getting married and having three children of her own, T.L. began to write the stories down between church socials, football practice, band concerts, volunteer work and running her own company. She joined a writers group and soon learned to sharpen her skills and found readers responded well to her work and encouraged her seek publication.
T.L. signed with her first literary agent in 2006. After two years she signed with another agent in 2008. At the end of 2008 she began to seek other representation for some of her other work, when she received a good publication offer for her latest novel, The Blood of Cain, which she turned down. Then a few months later a smaller offer came from another publisher, but she turned them down too. Finally, a third and even smaller offer arrived and she finally stepped out and took it.
