I have been studying martial arts since I was a young child and it has transformed me into who I am today. I have instructors licenses in 3 different systems of Aikido, Kempo, Jujutsu, the Samurai sword, Aiki-Jo (4' staff) and Okinawan weapons. I am also certified from both Japan and the U.S. My goal is to preserve the highest integrity of the martial arts while maintaining the purity of the system. This passes along the system(s) in a way that they were intended to be taught, not changed for flashiness or trophies. I am the Aikido Divisionhead for Fukasa-ryu Bujutsukai as well as a member of Kokusai Budoin and Aikido Tenshinkai of Florida.
I wrote "Enter into Aikido" as a way to educate the public as to what Aikido is, its history, the difference between various styles of Aikido, as well as its philosophical concepts and stories from students and their evolution as the go from beginner to teacher. It is a great resource for anyone interested in Aikido.
