Background Information

Violet Rightmire is the pen name of Debra Webb Rogers. A former professional ballet dancer, Debra performed with The Birmingham Ballet, The Florida Ballet and The Israel Ballet. She now devotes her time to teaching dance and writing dance-themed books, both fiction and non-fiction.

Accomplishments

Violet is a multiple-year honoree in "Who's Who Among America's Teachers" and has been Adjunct Teacher of the Year at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts.
