Every book that magically makes its way into my hands - changes me - makes me a part of all that I read.
I write for that same reason.
Books have always been a big part of my life. As far back as I can remember, libraries and book stores have felt like candy stores to me.
The ultimate book is one that completely absorbs me, tugs at my heart and may even draw a tear or two from my eye. I've always had the nasty habit of analyzing every movie I see or book I read, evaluating every part, wanting to change it, mold it to make it better. That's probably what makes me so hard on my own work, constantly changing it to make it the best it can be.
I write because I can't imagine a day without concocting new scenes or bringing new characters to life.
I write because a longing fulfilled is sweet to the soul.(Proverbs 13:19)
