We are only ever limited by our depth of vision. I am the Author of the Native American Novel 'Chétan!'.

Background Information

An author, editor, company director, agent, publicist and associate producer for Rolling Seas Promotions Pty Ltd, it is passion that drives me onwards.

Anything is possible in this world it is only the depth of vision that limits our dreams.

'Niugini Gold!'is my sixth novel. Completed in 2003 the action packed story was created after a mining helicopter dropped a ton of cyanide pellets over prisitine rainforests in the Southern Highlands of Papua New Guinea. A potential environmental disaster, the mining magnate Kevin Locland is held accountable. He receives more than he bargained for when two Australian journalists chase down the story.

I am lucky, I walk with inherent genes when it comes to creativity. In the late 1800's my Great Great Uncle, Robert Baker, founded the newspapers the MacLean Advocate, the Tweed Heads and the Mullimby Star in New South Wales, Australia. Since then there have been journalists, writers and artists descending through generations to the 21st Century.

My granddaughter is the latest in a long line of creativity. Ebby enjoys nothing more than to tell the wildest of stories about crocodiles chomping on anything that might pop into her mind. She has inherited the author's love of storytelling, though painting and drawing carry her passion onwards.

How do you attain the level of company director, editor, agent, publicist, associate producer from published author? A lifelong love and passion for the entertainment industry is the driving force behind me.

Through Rolling Seas Promotions, I am a publicist for the L.A. Screenwriter/Producer Dan Guardino; Producers Michael Z. Gordon, of 'Narc' acclaim; Carmen Stevens of Carmen Stevens Productions, with the movie production of 'Hot Stuff' by the author Flo Fitzpatrick; Agent for Micqui Miller with the novel 'Sweet Caroline' adapted to movie script by Dan Guardino. The list is too long to write it all down.

Mark Baker, Managing Director of Rolling Seas Promotions Pty Ltd. is my Manager and Agent. Without his dedication and friendship I fear I would be lost.

I have three beautiful adult sons who carry my heart in their hands. These are the people who are 'The wind beneath her wings'. I do not fear loving to the greatest of depths. It is the gift I give to those who fill my world with happiness.

My greatest love is for people, their resilient strengths of character, their weaknesses, their ever changing moods and the passions that drive their spirits onwards.

My philosophy in life is simple. Live life to the fullest, love and laugh, never fear to cry tears of the deepest heartache. See the beauty and magic that surrounds with every new day. Love and respect this wonderful world in which we live. Look to the heavens and thank the power that be, for it all.

Birth Place
Queensland,  Australia

'Chétan!' was originally published by Electric Umbrella Publishing USA. Its second print was signed to the traditional publishers Mundania Press USA - 'Chétan' is my fifth novel. Flying to the New York BookExpo in 2002 launched the unique and compelling Native American Story into the marketplace. It was the thrill of a lifetime for this author.

With a 'God Given' talent for creative writing it was refined in the early years of my career as a writer, by the author, editor, and publisher of Mobray Publishing, Mary Ireland. Mary is the lady I call my 'Godsend'.

I turned my writing career into a full time job in 1992. I have loved writing and telling stories even as a child. Epic fiction novels and Children's Stories are what I create, along with articles to inspire new writers, as well as being an editor, agent, publicist and associate producer. I have worked for an Australian Property Magazine, been an artist and an English turor. My News stories and articles are frequently published on websites. As an author I am published in 'A-Z Marketing', Francine Silverman's book, and 'Food for the Soul' cookbooks by Kim Robinson. These are just two books.

Additional Information

My love of native culture and research has allowed me to create the unique and compelling story of 'Chétan', from the written history of America. My depth of spirituality affords me the insight to see clearly, The Great Spirit, is the creator of all things. My latest novel 'Niugini Gold' also carries the theme of native culture, this time incorporating the language of 'Tok Pisin', or Pidgin English, to add fleeting magic to the storytelling. 2002 was a phenomenal year of learning to add to already acquired marketing skills. The promotional knowledge gained from the Publishing Industry BookExpo is nothing short of a priceless gift. My timeless Native American novel 'Chétan' has only just begun its climb towards success. The first book I wrote was called 'The Power of Knowing' the title has since been changed to 'Destined'. Books two, three, and four are 'Always A Secret', 'Dominique' and 'Where the Eagles Cry'. Then came the five year epic 'Chétan', followed by 'Niugini Gold', 'Sampari', and 'Thunderstruck'. Three of my children's stories have been lifted from the novel 'Dominique'. 'The Little Boy Who Went Fishing', 'Ebbeeee', 'The Chicken's Are Loose!', 'The Pond is Smoking', 'The Adventures of BeBop the Mouse', 'The Frog & The Dragonfly', all revolve around Australia with its unique wildlife. I am the storyteller 'Dee' these are stories told to my angels when they plead, 'Tell me a story Dee.'
