I was perfectly happy being a typical Fortune 500 company employee and then decided to start my own construction business. Well, after surviving two types of cancer (melanoma and non-Hodgkins), being a plaintiff in a federal lawsuit against a government agency (Thomas Neuenfeldt v. Williams Township), getting elected on my first try in politics, leaving a hotel lobby during a jailbreak in my hometown and having my children tell me what a failure I am (they are six and nine years old, disrespectively), I think I should have stayed gainfully employed.
On a more serious note, I have my own website on which I am trying to raise money for our military vets and to cure cancer (www.cureamericachallenge.com), and on that site I am selling my book "Fixing America: A Turnaround Guide from Our Only Honest Politician." I stumbled upon this website while trying to find ways to sell my book and figured it was worth a shot.
I have sold a few copies of my book, but I want to utilize this medium to gain more national exposure because I have truly lived a unique life and bring a perspective to life in America that nobody can. I have other examples of things I have done in my life as well as actual plans to change America for the better based on my talks with small business owners and corporate executives of global companies.
I hope this site will gain me connections to selfishly promote my book and my cause to have an awakening of Americans to transform this country like I outline in my book. As I say in my book, I want people to not only do what I challenge them to do in my book but to improve on it. If that happens, we all win short-term and for decades to come.
I hope this gives a little perspective on my reasons for joining this site. Thanks for any support and ideas you can provide to a first-time author.
