Background, hummm. High school creative writing class, I liked to write poetry and short stories. I had art classes also, but came from a very creative family. Mom, almost an art teacher. Sister, a talented artist and photographer. I have always been the creative type and am willing to take on almost anything.
My major influences, other than family, are the great masters of painting for my art, and authors such as Steven King and Dean Koontz and a whole long list of others, for my writing. I aspire to be a published author in my own right, and an artist of some beautiful works. If i need illustrations, I have the luxury of being able to do my own along with covers and such.
My motivations for writing are to get these stories out of my head and on paper. My imagination sometimes takes me to unknown places and I want to share.

My recent books, 2 cookbooks, South by Southwest and Have Your Cake and Eat It Too. 2 internet joke books 'Net Wit 1 and 2, and Feathers in the Fry Pan, a young peoples book about a pet parakeet and my latest book 'Prince Eric and the Island of Despair' are all, self-published and available at my web site. Also 3 childrens full color story books with a lesson, pro published and available at book stores, 'Under a Toadstool', 'Scorch the Dragon', and 'Adam Ant'.
