Desmon Lam is a visiting senior research fellow at the School of Marketing, University of South Australia. He holds a PhD (marketing) from the University of Western Australia and MBA from the University of Melbourne.
Desmond's interest lies in the understanding of gaming psychology and behavior, with specialty in Chinese gaming management and policies.He has written extensively on gaming-related issues, Chinese in particular. These were featured in premier trade publications like Casino Journal, Global Gaming Business, Casino Enterprise Management, and Macau Business as well as top scholarly journals like Journal of Gambling Studies, Marketing Letters, and Psychology & Marketing.
