I grew up on Danielle Steel novels; my mother always read them. Then, when I became an adult, I began watching the movies her books were based on. These inspired me to begin writing. Actually, I've been writing since a small child, but not seriously until a few years ago.
As a child, I won numerous awards for my writing and art. As an adult, I hope to become an established author in the genre of Romance.
I was never interested in writing paranormal. I thought Stephanie Meyer's books sounded somewhat lame. But for some reason, during the summer I abruptly decided to try to write paranormal myself... Maybe because I have such fun in writing plots wrapped around male villains; and what better villain than a vampire??
After I began writing Crimson Rose, I found out that I loved writing paranormal; and contrary to my earlier belief, novels about vampires are not lame. :D
My first two novels, Southern Bloodlines and Hushed Whispers, are contemporary romances. I believe that Southern Bloodlines comes the closest to Danielle Steel's work, although I also believe that it is unique in its own right.
