Background
Just an ordinary boy, the eldest in a family of five with three brothers, and one sister. Times were difficult, but our parents worked hard, and although we had little, we never went hungry, had a roof over over our heads and were never cold.
As an individual, I do not give up easily, if at all, and I quickly became aware of the need to get some further education, so I started the long journey to do just that.
I was always keen on the Royal Air Force, the aircraft, the flying and the discipline.
I saw regular service with the RAF through out the United Kingdom, then on to the Middle East Air Force and eventually back to our own country.
Major Influences
This would have to be the training of young men and women for eventual service with the RAF. I had an excellent record of results, due in great part to the team/teams under my command, where leadership and command were taught.
Education
To matriculation standard, following a lot of really hard work at evening classes, and part time day release, and so on to a commission, where this all really started.
Writing Career
I have written 7 novels to date, all of which draw on my life experiences, and cover topics as diverse as Science Fiction, Egyptology, Romantic Novels and even Medicine and Health Care.
Well, after a protracted break due to illness, amongst other things, "The Return" - the sequel to the Hawksbury trilogy, is now finished. "The Return" just need final proofing before its ready for publication in the spring of 2010.
I shall now continue with a few more short stories to complete the compendium of stories for those amongs you that like a short story.
Once I've finished the short stories I have one more novel in mind, which I hope to have finished by the end of the year. I won't say what it will be about just yet, but I am very excited about it!
