My writing tends to have dark undertones and haunting themes. Reading nothing but Stephen King and Edgar Allan Poe as a child created a monster within my brain - who's pulling at the shackles to break free and escape. My elementary teacher told me I was the only 4th grader she'd ever seen reading Pet Cemetary, and I took that as grand a compliment.
I've been writing stories since I was a child, but only recently pursued publication. I stuck to my horrific roots with "Day 94", and was a bit surprised that the original ending was "too depressing for publication". I like to get a reader emotionally attached to the character, then rip that attachment away. Let this be a forewarning, : ), so you don't feel tricked on future stories.

Publication of Day 94 on December 7, 2009 with Eternal Press. It was voted best Sci Fi/Futuristic book of 2009 by the Love, Romance (and more) Cafe.
Publication of 1st novel, "Isolated" by Moongypsy Press in July of 2010.
