The secret of happiness is not in doing what one likes,
but in liking what one has to do.

My major literary influences are: Dick Francis, Robin Cook, and John Grisham. I was sucked into mainstream fiction many years ago and I became a reading fanatic. I started deconstructing plots as I read them to figure out how one thing led to another and then decided that I would like to give it a try. Now I'm a published author and loving every minute of it.

I received a bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design from Brigham Young University in 1996. I have a beautiful wife and three great kids that keep me very busy.
My book, FINAL BREATH, is now available at all online book retailers and in some brick and mortar stores around the country.

At my real job (not that being an author isn't a real job, it just isn't mine) I am an Industrial Designer. I design power wheelchairs for a major corporation. I spend my day doodling on paper and then fleshing out final designs in 3D in the computer. To say I have a great job would be an understatement. I write fiction because it is just another way to unleash creativity.
