Live in the desert, near border of Mexico. Much older than I appear; wise beyond my years.


Background Information

Made my living catching babies, Wrote the FIRST book ever published about pregnancy and massage, Massage During Pregnancy, out in Fourth Edition, Jan. 2010. I have always been a women's advocate. I am presently writing two books and a monologue of birth stories.

Why do I do this? i love books, and I help writers write. I own Bluwaters Press and have published 22 books. Latest publication The Roosevelt Gambit.

I love poetry. I belong to a local writer's group, where its members provide a supporting milieu for my work. Our group helped establish Poetry Out Loud in our local high school and sponsor its competition and send a reader to the state competition.

I serve on the Board of Theatre For Today, local community theatre. Producer, director of play readings.

Research project ICE MASSAGE FOR THE REDUCTION OF LABOR PAIN, published in Journal of Midwifery and Women's Health, and included in MIDWIFE BEST PRACTICE, VOL 5, 2009.

Editor of The Roosevelt Gambit, release date Dec. 1, 2009. Written by G. B. Eubanks, JD. Historical novel covering 14 days in 1916 and takes the reader along with Leighton Hanshaw, Jr. as he settles a feud with the most visicous bad man of the west, saves a former president, prevents a war with Mexico, and delays United States' entry into WWI.
