Background
Information
Kelly Parker works as a copy editor for a Southern Californian newspaper and holds a bachelors degree in journalism from California State University, Chico. She has written two full-length novels; the first of which was started late at night when she was 16 years old and still sharing a room with her little sister, who helped to develop her first characters. Kelly's first real short story was written when she was seven in response to the news that a baby sister would soon be joining her family. Kelly's mom likes to say she knew ever since she read that story that her daughter was destined to be a published writer. Though she is unpublished yet in any major format, she is determined to change that.
Kelly's primary focus is "chick lit," but if inspiration strikes, she can write in many different genres.
