Rane's original song "Cold" appears on the Zaads compilation CD, "The Dream is Valid" raising money for KIVA.org, the international micro-lending non-profit supported by former president Bill Clinton.
Rane's original song "Questions" was a winner of the 2007 John Lennon Songwriting Award in the "Best World Music" category.
Rane's "Questions" music video was voted by Buba TV as "Best Video on YouTube."
