It would be unfair to the other great writers.  I've watch mature on this site.  To list you by name and speak of myself in the same sentence.  This is your stage and I am just here to participate and enjoy your company.  For those of you I began reading some 7 yrs ago, you know who you are and I applaud you and you are my influences as well as life itself and the wisdom to share.

I would like to pick up where I left off for a few reasons.  To begin I, will no longer write using the penname Michael but rather my name, Byron Holleman or, Brian if you wish.  My children are growing up and well, I think that speaks for itself.  Secondly, at the age of 47 I've been told my life is to be cut short because of my over indulgence when I was younger.  I may not participate in the partying lifestyle anymore and haven't for some time but my body has no time for late excuses as it is quickly giving up on me.  So, I find it necessary to try and publish my first and possibly last novel to give the readers and people who have followed my "basement writings," as I like to call them a glimpse into my life.  This is the only time I've ever sought recognition for monies but as I stated, I have two growing children to think about.

So, If your wondering then why are you here to share more poetry?  The answer is this.  First it's my passion and secondly, my son is taking interest in what I do.  After all it's all about teaching.  Thank you,
