I started writing because it comforted me. It helped me understand my feelings and cope with my life. When I was growing up, my paper and pen were my best friends. Later, as God's love broke away some of the rough places in my life, I really wanted to do something for Him-- to say thank you. The Lord began to challenge me to write down the things He tells me. Bible stories about Moses with his staff and the widow woman with her little bit of oil encouraged me that God could use ordinary things to made a huge difference in people's lives. I felt like the Lord wanted me to use writing, reading and studying His word to honor Him and to
help others. It is my prayer that God will be praised and you will be enriched by The Journal of God's Calling.
