Background Information

I have written for several years, as an avocation, just to relax. I grew up in the South, Jackson, Miss., reading ,and having been read to, much of the great Southern literature. Many of the authors themselves were as much "characters" as the characters they created.

Recently I have signed a contract to have a novel published in early 2011. I have a second novel that I am editing for submission . I also have written a handful of short stories and some short nonfiction.
