I have been writing for more than 30 years now, and I am a published writer. Although I write children's stories on occasion, the majority of my writing is done in poetic form. I write in both free verse and rhyme, and my favorite genre is DARK. The darker the better, I always say.
Each piece of my writing comes from events or situations in my real life, most of which seem to be dark. I tend to weave a tremendous amount of power and emotion to my writing, and do enjoy hearing what others think or might suggest.
My 6th grade teacher, Stan Carroll, was the person that ignited my extreme passion for writing, and I will forever be in debt to him. It is because of his influence on me, and his wonderful guidance, that I attempt to better myself with each and every piece I write.
He taught me that there is no such thing as a perfect piece of writing, therefore, I do not rate perfect scores on ANY piece I read. I agree with Mr. Carroll that once a writer reaches perfection, then what more is there to work towards.
I am a Wiccan High Priestess and have been practicing Magick and Witchcraft for the past quarter century. Over the years I have become accustomed to the discrimination and ignorant accusations from those who do not understand my beliefs. Although I am a Wiccan, I do not believe in judging anyone based on religious beliefs.
I am a very caring and compassionate person.
